The Sixth Annual International Conference SILESIAN MOODLE MOOT 2009 alias Access to Education by Learning Personalization
The aim of this conference is to contribute to propagation and sharing the knowledge and experiences related to the influence of Information and Communication technology (ICT) on education at all its levels and forms from formal to informal.
The Third Annual International Conference SUNFLOWER 2009 alias Access to Education for Handicapped
The conference SUNFLOWER provides with the space to recognise the new possibilities in education, which are given the handicapped by ICT. The meeting brings the professionals as well as interested public a platform to learn the different limits but also shows the way of individuals how they still can study and increase the quality of their life.

The conferences are held under the auspices of:

prof. Dr. Ing. Dana Dluhošová, Dean of the Faculry of Economics VŠB-TU Ostrava
Mgr. Věra Palková, Vice-president of Moravian-Silesian Region
Mgr. Lubomír Pospíšil, Deputy of Mayor of Ostrava City

Before these above mentioned conferences the international conference ICT BRIDGES will be held in the frame of international partnership of Leonardo da Vinci programme on 10.-11.11.2009. You can learn more about this project on ICT BRIDGES. The main aim of this project is to share experiences and knowledge about how ICT can help to overcome barriers.
